In true Amazon "hey let's change things up" form, the announcement was made that Prime Day, Amazon's annual deals for Prime members, will not be in July this year. Instead it will be sometime in June. All joking aside, this isn’t a decision they will have taken lightly. If one thing Amazon has demonstrated, is their ability to generate sales. That means it's time to start getting ready for the big event and getting your content (and geni.us links) ready; best of lists, product roundups, short form videos, product comparisons.

By being prepared you can get your audience excited and make the most of this annual event.

Prime Day 2026 in June

Amazon Prime Day 2026 is a world wide event, but in June you should focus on Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Prime members in Australia, Brazil, India, and Japan will be able to shop Prime Day deals later this summer. Don’t take your content down until all Prime Day shopping is done.

Get your content ready now. Amazon will tease participating products via email, but pricing usually drops last minute—so build your content and geni.us links ahead of time, then swap in deals as they go live.
