Amazon - Big News! + Conversions Tip!

Hey Geniuslinker,

Check out these latest updates to help you earn effortlessly everywhere.

Amazon - Big News

Starting TODAY, June 2, 2025, Amazon is simplifying commission rates in the EU countries to help ‘Creators’ earn more by aligning direct and indirect rates.

Previously, indirect links earned just 1%. Now, you’ll earn based on the purchased product’s category, even from deal or category pages. Some category rates are changing, so earnings may rise or fall depending on performance. Example: If your beauty rate is 6%, you’ll now earn 6% whether users buy the linked item or any beauty product. Plus, linking to non-product pages like Prime Day now earns full rates.

And in case you haven't already done it, make sure you're signed up for for ALL the EU countries, including recently launched Ireland, so you can preview your new rate card and maximize your earnings.

With all of your storeIDs added to your Geniuslink dashboard we'll localize your global traffic, help you track conversions, and optimize your strategy to ensure you're making the most from every click.

And remember, it's not too early to start prepping for Prime Day coming up in July.

Drive More Conversions from TV

We're getting feedback from more and more clients that TV is driving views and the clients making the most of these views are incorporating Geni.us link QR codes at key points in videos and in end screens.

Go to YouTube Studio and check your analytics (views by device type) to understand how large your TV viewing audience is and then give it a test and let us know how it worked for you.

You can copy your Geniuslink QR code direct from your Geniuslink dashboard https://my.geniuslink.com/links and also when you click the gear icon and view individual link stats. You can just copy your QR and your ready to add it to your video artwork. Check out more on Geniuslink QR codes.

Craft & Commerce

Later this month we'll be at Kit's conference, Craft & Commerce. We'll be keeping our eyes and ears open for new tips and trips and networking with clients and making new connections with all the amazing creators attending. If you're planning on being there drop us a reply, we'd love to connect and if you're not planning on being there it is sold out but don't worry, we'll have lots of takeaways to share.

Helping you earn effortlessly everywhere,

Hey Geniuslinker, Memorial Day weekend isn't just the unofficial start of summer, it's a big retail weekend, and a serious opportunity for content creators and affiliates. Major retailers like Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, and Walmart roll out some of their most aggressive sales of the season, which means your audience is already in buying mode before the long weekend even begins. The move? Get ahead of it. Deal-focused content like "Best Memorial Day Sales" roundups tend to pick up strong...

Hey Geniuslinker, In true Amazon "hey let's change things up" form, the announcement was made that Prime Day, Amazon's annual deals for Prime members, will not be in July this year. Instead it will be sometime in June. All joking aside, this isn’t a decision they will have taken lightly. If one thing Amazon has demonstrated, is their ability to generate sales. That means it's time to start getting ready for the big event and getting your content (and geni.us links) ready; best of lists,...

Hey Geniuslinker, It's a cliche because it's true Last minute shoppers are out there, and they really want to part ways with their hard earned cash. All they need is a little help, from you. Remember that they're probably as short on ideas as they are short on time. That's why Amazon gives 'Gifts by Recipient' a very prominent placement on the main storefront. But being late to start isn't the only challenge though, there's also those people who are difficult to buy for, the family or friends...
