Prep for Prime Day | Add Countries | World Cup | Free Webinar

Hey Geniuslinker,

This year Prime Day is a four-day event, running June 23 through 26, and if you create content around Amazon products, it's one of the best earning windows of the year. The creators who do well aren't the ones scrambling when deals go live. They're the ones who got their links, content, and audience ready ahead of time.

A few things worth doing before the 23rd:

Get your links in order. Go through your highest-traffic posts, video descriptions, and link-in-bio now. Any Amazon affiliate link that isn't routed through Geniuslink is leaving international clicks on the table, and Prime Day is global. Amazon is running deals in more than 20 countries during the event, but worth noting that Australia, Brazil, India, and Japan are getting their own Prime Day later this summer. So if a chunk of your audience is in those markets, stay tuned for those dates.

Start creating before the deals drop. Amazon is already running early deals, and shopping intent is building right now. A "Prime Day prep" or "what I'm watching for" piece of content published this week will be indexed, shared, and in front of your audience before the event even starts. That's a better position than publishing on the 23rd when everyone else is too. Geniuslink's smart links make it easy to point that content wherever it needs to go, whether that's a specific product, a Choice Page, or a storefront tailored by country.

Know what you're promoting. This year Amazon is dropping new deals as often as every five minutes during select periods, with "Today's Big Deals" refreshing three times a day. That's a lot of noise. The creators who cut through it are the ones with a clear niche. If your audience trusts you on tech, home goods, books, or whatever your lane is, lead with that. You don't need to cover everything.

Four days is a long event. Pace yourself, have your content ready to go, and make sure your Geniuslink links are doing the work they should be. And if you have questions along the way, our support team is always just an email away at help@geniuslink.com.

What's the one product or category you're most excited to promote this Prime Day?

Until next time,

Jesse & Team Geniuslink

Hey Geniuslinker, Sometimes changes, even unwanted ones can act as that nudge you didn’t know you needed. Over the past few months Amazon has been making changes and in some cases, cuts. The cuts have landed hard on publishers running paid-media affiliate models, and Amazon appears to be pivoting more directly toward creators and influencers. The lesson for everyone monetizing links is Optimize and Diversify. If you want to soften the Amazon hit without abandoning the products your audience...

Hey Geniuslinker, Memorial Day weekend isn't just the unofficial start of summer, it's a big retail weekend, and a serious opportunity for content creators and affiliates. Major retailers like Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, and Walmart roll out some of their most aggressive sales of the season, which means your audience is already in buying mode before the long weekend even begins. The move? Get ahead of it. Deal-focused content like "Best Memorial Day Sales" roundups tend to pick up strong...

Hey Geniuslinker, In true Amazon "hey let's change things up" form, the announcement was made that Prime Day, Amazon's annual deals for Prime members, will not be in July this year. Instead it will be sometime in June. All joking aside, this isn’t a decision they will have taken lightly. If one thing Amazon has demonstrated, is their ability to generate sales. That means it's time to start getting ready for the big event and getting your content (and geni.us links) ready; best of lists,...
